Commercial Finance Association: Founded in 1944, the Commercial Finance Association is the trade group of the asset-based financial services industry, with members throughout the U.S., Canada and around the world. Members include the asset-based lending arms of domestic and foreign commercial banks, small and large independent finance companies, floor plan financing organizations,factoring organizations and financing subsidiaries of major industrial corporations. CFA membership is by organization, not by individual.
Turnaround Management Association: The Turnaround Management Association (www.turnaround.org) is the only international non-profit association dedicated to corporate renewal and turnaround management. Its international headquarters is in Chicago. Established in 1988, TMA has 7,000 members in 36 chapters, including 27 in the US, two in Canada,and one in Australia, France, Japan, New Zealand, South Africa, Taiwan and the UK, with chapters in formation in Nevada (US), Hong Kong, Italy and Austria. TMA members are a professional community of turnaround and corporate renewal professionals who share a common interest in strengthening the economy through the restoration of corporate value.
Association for Corporate Growth: Founded in 1954, the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) is the premier global association for professionals involved in corporate growth, corporate development, and mergers and acquisitions for mid to large companies. Leaders in corporations, private equity, finance, and professional service firms focused on building value in their organizations belong to ACG.
International Factoring Association: The International Factoring Association's (IFA) goal is to assist the Factoring community by providing information, training, purchasing power and a resource for the Factoring community. It's mission is to disseminate information to the Factoring Community in regards to developments and changes in the industry, and to provide a forum for educational meetings and seminars.
Risk Management Association: The Risk Management Association (RMA) is a member-driven professional association whose objective is to further the ability of our members to identify, assess, and manage the impacts of credit risk, operational risk, and market risk on their businesses and their customers. RMA provides education, networking and leadership opportunities for our membership.
International Women's Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation: IWIRC is an international professional association for insolvency practitioners of all types (accountants, appraisers, asset-based lenders, bankers, in-house counsel [or others assigned to represent a creditor on creditor committees], financial advisors, restructuring and turnaround experts, lawyers). Its purpose is to offer opportunities for networking, professional development, leadership and mentoring on a local, national and international level.
An Association of Executives in Finance, Credit, & International Business:
Founded in 1919, FCIB is an international membership group with more than 1,200 members in 55 countries around the world.
In addition to world headquarters in the U.S., FCIB maintains operations in Europe and Canada.
New York Institute of Credit: The New York Institute of Credit (NYIC) was founded in 1918 as the New York Chapter of the National Institute of Credit (NIC). In 1957 NYIC was granted an absolute charter as an educational corporation by the Board of Regents of the State of New York. As a non-profit organization, NYIC has always attempted to bridge the gap between business theory and business practice. As a result, the faculty of NYIC consists of educators who are primarily credit executives or prestigious and articulate accountants or lawyers who are appreciative of the value of a close alliance of the professions.

Commercial Lending Review: The Commercial Lending Review is a bi-monthly journal covering all aspects of corporate lending. The Secured Lender: The Secured Lender, which is published by the Commercial Finance Association, is devoted exclusively to the asset-based financial services industry. Editorial matter is directed toward practitioners of asset-based financing. Each bimonthly issue contains several feature-length articles dealing with specific topics of concern to CEOs and senior managers. Articles are written by industry experts. Typical subject matter ranges from lender liability to sales and marketing, financial controls and budgeting, legal and legislative developments, industry software, and management functions. Mergers and Acquisitions: Mergers and Acquisitions, the Dealmaker's Journal (MAJ) is the official publication of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG). The new substantial MAJ publication of 80+ pages, has replaced ACG’s monthly newsletter ACG Network, and provides coverage and analysis of key deals and influential developments in mergers and acquisitions. Also included is a section on headline local, regional and international news related to ACG members and chapters.
ABF Journal: ABF Journal is a monthly trade journal for commercial finance professionals, and is dedicated exclusively to the asset-based lending and factoring industries. The feature stories and columns range from executive profiles and round-table discussions with leaders from both large and small lending institutions and factoring companies to quarterly league table commentary, and deal analytics. The monthly Industry Watch section recaps newsworthy events that continue to shape the commercial finance industry. Quarterly exhibits include notable deals and personnel changes.
